At Cassandra Sabo Designs I strive to offer clients and design professionals an exceptional bespoke textile design service covering interiors, fashion and lighting.

Using my specialist knowledge of hand-woven textiles and my unique approach to design that combines traditional and contemporary craft techniques with natural and innovative materials, I aim to interpret a client's vision and deliver them high quality, luxury products and textiles. 

Working from my Oxford-based studio at Makespace Oxford in Jericho, I am able to offer clients and design professionals an inspiring visit to the working studio-showroom. In the studio I am able to help with:

  • Matching your fabric samples to my colourful handwoven swatches to select the perfect colour and pattern combination to match your interior
  • Suggesting new yarns, fibres and materials from the hundreds on display in the studio to add to your project to create a unique and bespoke fabric or product
  • Giving practical advice on the suitability of yarns and materials to integrate into your project so that the outcome is fit for purpose
  • A hand-spinning service to help you blend the perfect yarn and fibre combinations of colours to match your interior
  • A hand-dyeing service for artworks and wall-hangings to create unusual and eye-catching colour combinations
  • Helping you hone your interior style by adding deliberate elements of colour, texture and pattern
  • Creating a unique handwoven cushion, throw, lampshade, artwork or wall-hanging to elevate your interior space

If you are unable to visit the studio-showroom, I am happy to liaise at a distance. I have worked with domestic and overseas clients by post, email and Zoom/FaceTime to ensure I manage every step of the process successfully.

As a small, independent hand-weaving studio, rest assured I can personalise every aspect of your project. From your choice of warp yarn and perfect drum size for a lampshade to the finishing blanket stitches and backing colours of cushions, I can help you to realise your vision of beautiful, hand-woven products and textiles that exude quality craftsmanship.
